Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study aims to analyze various factors affecting economic growth in Indonesia from 1991 to 2023. The main focus of this study is carbon dioxide emissions, fossil fuel use, foreign direct investment, and corruption rates. The quantitative analysis method utilizes secondary data as a time series and applies the Ordinary Least Squares method as an analysis tool. The outcomes indicate that carbon dioxide emissions have a significant positive impact on economic growth. On the other hand, however, the use of fossil fuels did not have a considerable effect. Foreign direct investment has been proven to contribute to economic growth positively. Meanwhile, the level of corruption shows a negative impact, although the effect is insignificant. The results of this investigation offer a significant understanding of the development of sustainable economic policies in Indonesia.
