800Gbps/λ WDM Metro-Access Network by novel photonic integrated EDWA and SOA-based WSS Nodes

Abstract: We demonstrate the first high-capacity 800Gbps single-channel WDM metro-access network using photonic-integrated EDWA and 1×4 SOA-based WSS nodes. Results confirm dynamic add/drop switch over multiple nodes with 2.5dB OSNR penalty and 10dB OSNR margin.
