Abstract: This article has its origin in research initiated within the framework of a Research and Development Project of the University of Concepción del Uruguay–Santa Fe Regional Center of Argentina. The general objective of this project is to describe the admission experience and to determine the risk of institutional disaffiliation of university students. In this paper, the advances achieved in the follow-up of the 2024 cohort of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition are discussed. From a theoretical point of view, the project approach assumes the decline of modern institutions. For the university environment, decline is understood as a decrease in the socialization capacity of subjects, thus increasing vulnerability in terms of institutional integration. The relationship between the lack of integration and the probability of interruption of training is the central point of the discussion. In this sense, the research question of this article investigates the relationships that can be established between organizational communication as a factor of institutional integration and the phenomenon of the risk of disaffiliation during the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition at the Santa Fe Regional Center of the University of Concepción del Uruguay. In order to respond to this concern, a speech ethnography was carried out, in-depth interviews were conducted with the institution's authorities and administrative staff, and a survey was applied to a total of 115 students, of whom the risk of institutional disaffiliation is determined here for 34 cases.
