Abstract: Cognitive intervention is an important early intervention strategy for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Conventional approaches rely on basic teaching aids and electrical oral techniques, which fail to address the diverse and individual needs of children with ASD. To handle the limitations of mental treatment in children with ASD by utilizing current intelligent conversation technology, this study has developed a design scheme based on the Kano-entropy weighting method. Firstly, based on the Kano model, the needs of children with ASD were collected and classified into three categories: Must-be (M), One-dimensional (O), and Attractive (A) according to their relative satisfaction coefficient. Secondly, the goal weight values of several required measures were calculated using the entropy weight method. Then, an interactive cognitive intervention system was designed based on the relationship between weight principles and action coaching for children with ASD. Combining the Kano model and entropy weight method effectively identifies and balances user needs, guiding the design of a more efficient and user-pleasant interactive cognitive intervention system for children with ASD. This method solved the problem of personal needs differences in children with ASD, bridged the gap between technology and functional application, improved the effectiveness of intervention training, and provided a reference and basis for later related designs.
