Abstract: Cytoskeleton is a great journal of any work characterizing cytoskeletal proteins, but had been largely focused on eukaryotic Cytoskeleton.Around the same time as we were ready with our manuscript submission, we became aware of a forthcoming special issue-"Cytoskeleton of Prokaryotes and Cellular/ Eukaryotic Organelles" by Cytoskeleton. We thought our work, ranging from the in vivo experiments to the in silico analysis with an additional angle of drug resistance was a perfect fit for the themed issue. Moreover, previous experience of my PI, Dr.Ramanujam Srinivasan, of the constructive and speedy review process with the journal, also prompted us to submit our work to "Cytoskeleton".
