Abstract: The National Education Policy 2020 outlines a vision of new education system of India. In this paper an attempt has been made to take an overview of the education system in India. The paper also discusses both sides of the debate on the National Education Policy 2020. The paper is purely theoretical and is on the secondary sources of data.
