Abstract: Сonsiders topical issues of interregional integration of the territories of the Russian Federation in the modern conditions of global nootransformation. Trends in the development of the national economy in the post-Soviet period (1990s – present) based on changes in several socio-demographic indicators and GDP (GRP) in the country (federal districts) are presented. Positive trends in the dynamics of the main socio-economic indicators and unfavorable trends in the demographic sphere are identified. The key vectors and features of the updated Strategy for Spatial Development for 2025–2030 are disclosed. Based on the analysis of scientific works and the legislative framework for strategic planning, as well as federal and regional strategic documents implemented in practice, the positions of scientists and experts on the need to intensify activities to strategize the development of economic space are summarized. Conclusions on the need to develop transport infrastructure in the context of deepening interregional and international economic ties as a basis for expanding interaction between economic entities of different taxonomic levels have been made. The implementation of strategic documents in the context of global nootransformation is possible only on the basis of knowledge embodied in technologies and considered as a priority of NIO.2 – the next generation of social structure.
