Investment Process From the Perspective of Systemic Approach

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The Systemic Approach is a methodological direction of scientific cognition and social practice that is based on considering objects as systems. It serves as a toolkit used to guide research toward substantiating the integrity of the object, revealing its diverse connections, and consolidating them into a unified complex. The systemic approach is, in its essence, a concretization of the principles of dialectical materialism, within which the investment process can be seen as a series of operations (types of activities) carried out on raw materials (the process's input). It elevates value and determines a certain outcome (the process's output). From the perspective of the systemic approach, the study of the investment process is possible, as the investment process is an economic system. It has an input — the complex condition of this system (the investment environment) — and an output — a change in the inflow of investments into the economic system. The result of the investment process determines the development of the economic system in which the process occurs and causes changes in the pace of economic growth within it.
