Abstract: Pursuant to the Order of the Marshal of the Sejm, the seat of the office may not, as a general rule, be located on property owned by the Deputy or a member of his or her family or on property to which they hold a legal title. The lump sum may not be used to finance obligations arising from a contract concluded by the Deputy with a member of his or her family, including the rent of premises intended for a Deputy’s office. The Order does not expressly prohibit the conclusion of a contract for the rent of premises intended for a Deputy’s office with a company in which a member of the Deputy’s family holds shares.
