One important aspect of education is language education, particularly Arabic language education, which holds special significance in religious and environmental contexts. This article explores how religion-based Arabic language education can be an integrated approach to enhancing environmental awareness and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This research employs a methodology that includes a literature review, interviews with education and environmental experts, and case studies of educational institutions that have implemented this approach. The research findings indicate that the integration of Arabic language education with environmental issues can guide educators and policymakers in creating a more environmentally aware and sustainable society. Best practices from Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia and international educational institutions support these findings. This article emphasizes the importance of Arabic language education in integrating religious values and environmental awareness through the concepts of Khalifah (Guardian of the Earth) and Amanah (Trust) in Islam. By understanding and applying these teachings, Arabic language education can significantly contribute to achieving the SDGs and become an effective model that can be implemented in various Islamic educational institutions, both formal and non-formal.
