Abstract: ABSTRACT The Generic Learning Outcomes (GLOs) tool, developed in the United Kingdom, was implemented in the context of a Colombian university museum to evaluate the experiences of a school‐aged audience. The findings were discussed with museum staff to assess the tool's usefulness and the new insights it provides as an evaluation framework. The results demonstrate that the GLOs tool offers an innovative way to report the learning and experiences of museum visitors, fostering dialog among museum professionals about the impact of exhibits on the public. Additionally, the study concludes that the tool's conceptual and methodological framework requires minimal adaptation to be effectively applied in the Colombian context.
