Personalized Education Through Cloud Analytics: Transforming Learning Paradigms

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This article examines the transformative potential of cloud-based analytics architectures in education. By leveraging unified lakehouses, real-time streaming pipelines, and AI-powered data-warehouse components, educational institutions can develop personalized learning experiences that enhance student outcomes. It analyzes the technical infrastructure required to implement such systems, exploring the multi-layered data architecture that integrates information from learning management systems, student information systems, IoT-enabled classrooms, and digital learning resources. The article investigates critical privacy controls and regulatory compliance considerations, including data protection measures, FERPA requirements, and technical infrastructure needs for responsible data stewardship. It presents empirical evidence demonstrating how cloud analytics implementations have improved student retention, accelerated learning outcomes, and optimized resource allocation across diverse educational contexts. Finally, the article addresses the socio-technological challenges that must be addressed, including digital divide concerns, algorithmic bias in educational recommendations, and human-AI integration considerations. It indicates that cloud analytics can significantly improve educational outcomes while highlighting the importance of responsible implementation that prioritizes equity, mitigates bias, and incorporates educator expertise in the development of next-generation learning environments.
