Abstract: Hyperuricemia (HUA) is a metabolic disease caused by disorders in purine metabolism, and its occurrence and progression are influenced by multiple factors including genetic and environmental factors. This article aims to review the impact of high-altitude environments on uric acid levels and the mechanisms of uric acid metabolism under such conditions.
