Abstract: The introduction of permanent independent professional or design supervision during the implementation of mining projects would ensure the implementation and therefore the quality control of the designed solutions. In this way, the responsible planners and investors would face the practical applicability, all the disadvantages and benefits that are defined in the project. The essence is the improvement of project solutions in a qualitative aspect while achieving the highest standards in terms of occupational safety and environmental protection. Control on the one hand and responsibility on the other are the basis for the reliable operation of the system in which the goals are defined by the project assignment and procedural conditions for realization are created by the application of the designed solutions in compliance with the regulations prescribed by law.
