Type: article
Abstract: Unlike the management model, technological advances are developing rapidly in Brazilian society. In public management, technological tools allow for efficient government activity in terms of finance, transparency, and support for the services provided. This study aims to analyze the impacts caused by Conecta Recife on the public management of the City of Recife (PCR). The research analyzes digital innovation in social processes through the use of digital channels, considering that this process allows social demands to be met effectively and efficiently. The research contextualizes the innovative solution in the management of public processes, through a quantitative analysis, and explores users' perception of public services on digital platforms, the population's digital maturity for implementing the project, and the creation of value perceived by users. The study addresses technological effectiveness in promoting social processes and its breadth of service to the population. The analysis delves into the benefits of technology, but presents the need to promote digital inclusion for users. As a theoretical contribution, it demonstrates the potential of technological innovation in public management, in light of innovation theory. The research offers valuable insights for the replication of similar initiatives in other City Halls, inspiring solutions to contemporary challenges, aiming to restructure and review processes, tools and solutions within an evolving environment and with ever-increasing expectations to meet the needs of a society that demands technological modernity in the municipality.
