Abstract: In this article, the aim was to discuss the concept of cisheteronormative ignorance, its operating systems in the production of testimonial and hermeneutical injustices towards transgender people, and the possible connections between transfeminism, intersectionality, and the epistemologies of ignorance, through an interdisciplinary dialogue. For this purpose, the theoretical-methodological contributions of the epistemology of ignorance, the assumptions of transfeminism, and intersectionality were utilized. Finally, it was possible to grasp that it is necessary to understand cisgender identity from its intersection with other markers, considering that the lack of naming and the naturalization of this identity at the expense of others produces cisheteronormative ignorance, which does not only affect transgender people.
