Investigation of electrode passivation during oxidation of a nitroxide radical relevant for flow battery applications
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Electrochemical behavior of 4-hydroxy-TEMPO (HT) is studied at realistic flow battery conditions such as high concentration and low rate. HT passivates the electrode surface, but a self-cleaning mechanism is a solution for HT use in flow batteries.
