Construction and Practice of the Ideological and Political Chain System in Geological Engineering Curriculum

Abstract: With the implementation of the Guidelines for Ideological and Political Construction in Higher Education Courses, curriculum ideological and political construction has entered a new stage of quality and efficiency improvement. As a typical interdisciplinary applied engineering discipline, geological engineering shoulders the important mission of cultivating “Earth Engineers”. Facing major national strategic demands such as ecological civilization construction and engineering safety assurance, building a curriculum ideological and political system with geological engineering characteristics holds special significance. Taking the construction of the national first-class geological engineering major at Shandong University of Science and Technology as an example, this paper elaborates on how to achieve deep integration of knowledge transmission and value guidance through the construction of a curriculum ideological and political chain system, effectively enhancing the educational quality of the discipline.
