Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The healthcare landscape is undergoing a profound transformation from reactive to proactive approaches through innovative technological solutions. This article explores a framework for leveraging Salesforce CRM with artificial intelligence capabilities to build comprehensive public health early warning systems. By integrating diverse data streams clinical records, environmental indicators, social determinants, and traditional surveillance into a unified platform, health authorities can detect emerging threats before they reach crisis levels. The Salesforce ecosystem, including Health Cloud for centralized data management, Einstein AI for predictive analytics, Experience Cloud for community engagement, and MuleSoft for seamless integration, provides the technical foundation for this vision. Real-world applications demonstrate the potential impact in scenarios ranging from respiratory health management during wildfire events to infectious disease outbreak detection in communities. Despite implementation challenges related to data privacy, scalability, and standardization, the proposed solution offers substantial benefits in terms of financial savings, improved public health outcomes, and operational efficiencies.
