Abstract: This article analyzes the views of the Eastern philosopher Sa'di Shirazi on the moral and ethical upbringing of youth. Particular attention is given to the principles of morality, such as virtue, honesty, integrity, justice, and compassion, as advocated in his works Gulistan and Bustan. Additionally, the article highlights the relevance of these principles in the context of Uzbekistan's state policy on youth. It emphasizes the interconnectedness of historical heritage and modern approaches in ensuring the spiritual and ethical development of the younger generation.
