Abstract: This study investigates the emotional intelligence characteristics of adolescents prone to victim behavior, highlighting critical gaps in current understanding. Empirical data from 13- to 15-year-olds in rural Altai Krai schools reveal distinct emotional intelligence patterns linked to victimization tendencies. These findings underscore the need for tailored emotional development programs to mitigate vulnerability in at-risk youth.
