Abstract: This article proposes to present a brief commentary on Gilles Deleuze's reading of Spinoza's work. Concerned with apprehending the way in which the French philosopher recovers a certain vital anecdote referring to the author of the Ethics and articulates it to Spinoza's philosophical system. Such a procedure would be liable to be considered a betrayal and would point to a typically Deleuzian procedure, which is the production of an immaculate conception or a monstrous child with the authors worked on by Deleuze. Our main interest, therefore, will be to investigate certain procedural modes adopted by Deleuze, taking as the guiding principle of this analysis the uniqueness of Deleuzian reading of Spinoza.
