A Chebyshev’s Inequality-based Distributionally Robust Chance-Constrained Model for Distribution Network Reactive Power Optimization
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This paper primarily examines the effects of integrating distributed generation (DG) on voltage and reactive power control within distribution networks. It introduces a distributionally robust chance-constrained (DRCC) model that employs Chebyshev’s inequality to optimize reactive power. To account for the variability inherent in renewable energy resources, a moment-based fuzzy set approach is utilized. Furthermore, the DRCC model is reformulated using a method grounded in Chebyshev’s inequality. The numerical results demonstrate that the proposed approach significantly enhances the voltage profile and minimizes energy losses.
