Abstract: Villages have a strategic role in community development and welfare. Transparency and accountability in village financial management are the main factors in ensuring the effective and efficient use of village funds. Village financial management must be carried out based on the principles of transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness, and budget discipline. However, there are still obstacles in the understanding of village officials regarding good financial management. Therefore, education and training are needed for village officials so that village fund management is more optimal, supports sustainable development, and improves community welfare
