Abstract: By Presidential Regulation Number 106 of 2021, Ministerial Regulation Number 35 of 2022, and Ministerial Decree Number 291 of 2022, UPN Veteran Jawa Timur is assigned as the Project Management Officer (PMO) of Asrama Mahasiswa Nusantara (AMN) Surabaya. In the 2024 AMN Surabaya prospective resident recruitment, the Selection Committee held 2 selection schemes for prospective residents. The selection consists of a regular scheme and a proactive scheme. In the regular scheme, prospective residents come from new students who have been accepted at one of the PTN consortia through the Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) and Test-based National Selection (SNBT) pathways. New students register themselves independently as participants in the selection of prospective AMN Surabaya residents through this system. The variables considered in this scheme include administrative, health, psychological, ideological, and economic assessments of the selected participants. In the Proactive scheme, prospective residents come from Orang Asli Papua (OAP) who are currently XII Grade Students (SMA or SMK). These OAP students are students who are currently attending school on the Affirmation of Secondary Education (ADEM) program or attending regular schools in the provinces of Papua, West Papua, South Papua, Central Papua, Mountain Papua, and Southwest Papua. The Head of the local Education Office registers Registration for the selection of prospective residents. The Head of the Education Office is given the right to register students who are declared eligible. This system is expected to facilitate the selection of participants to register and upload the required files. This system is used as the main information facility in selection activities. This system facilitates the selection committee in managing the selection process for prospective residents of AMN Surabaya. This system is a transparent information facility for the public.
