Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: One of the Merdeka Curriculum programs run by SD Negeri Jatirejo Nganjuk is a mentoring activity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to design product packaging to make it more attractive and introduce products better to consumers. However, most teachers and students do not yet have sufficient skills and knowledge to create attractive product packaging graphic designs that fit the needs of MSMEs. Therefore, training in graphic design platform applications is needed to help create attractive and creative product packaging graphic designs. This training is intended to help teachers prepare themselves to become agents of transfer of knowledge to students. Furthermore, students are expected to be able to provide mentoring to school MSME partners as a form of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri Jatirejo, Nganjuk. The online graphic design platform used is the Canva application. Canva is an online graphic design platform that is very suitable for those who do not have good graphic design skills, making the design process easier, more efficient, and faster. Several stages and activities that are part of this community service activity include identifying the needs of training participants, preparing training materials, implementing training, and evaluating training. The entire material that has been delivered in this training activity is an introduction to the Canva platform, choosing a design template, design, and layout, using design elements, adding images and text, and combining and completing designs. After participating in this training activity, teachers and students become skilled in using Canva to support the independent curriculum program.
