A total of 73 students from the degree in physical activity and sport sciences participated, made 22 games and recorded their emotional experiences through the quantitative instrument Games and Emotions Scale (GES). The data were analyzed through Generalized Estimation Equations (GEE), Gaussian family Generalized Linear Models (GLM) of interchangeable correlation. In the results obtained, no differences in emotional intensity were observed when the games were performed by mixed or segregated groups. In conclusion it can be pointed out that the type of grouping does not determine the emotional intensity.
