Abstract: Concept of time and its presentation in the poem “Autumn walks behind the wall of life…” by B. Poplavsky are studied in the article. This poem is analyzed according to the theoretical approach of the poet to the nature of time, categories of fluidity, episodic, problem of memory and recollections in the context of European and antic philosophy. In the poem temporal motives become central and correlate with categories of music, nature elements, religion, antinomies of life and death, eternity and fleeting nature of life. Time is a peculiar endless sphere, where due to the spirit of music all epochs and spaces are merged. This determines the existence of two temporal paradigms: earth-living and cosmic-divine. The image of wall is the threshold between entity and otherness, the passage through it is equivalent to the soul leaving the boundaries of flesh and еру world of time to the kingdom of heaven. The development of the imaginary structure from limitation to infinity is connected with this disembodiment movement.
