FEATURES OF THE DISPLAY OF CRIMEAN VIEWS BY PAINTERS OF SEVASTOPOL IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE 20th CENTURY

Abstract: The article presents the features of creative thinking of Sevastopol artists after the Second World War. The research revealed figurative and stylistic differences between the Sevastopol body of works, filled with a military-historical spirit, and the works of other local schools. In parallel with the military-historical vector of development of composition, since the 1960s, the emergence of a diverse artistic search can be traced, supported by painters from the center of the region – Simferopol.
