Abstract: The article examines modern approaches to agroecological management as a foundation for sustainable agricultural development in the European Union. The key principles and practices of agroecology are investigated in the context of the European Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy. Innovative land use methods that contribute to biodiversity conservation, soil structure improvement, and climate change mitigation are analyzed. The prospects for implementing agroecological approaches in Ukrainian agricultural practices in the context of post-war recovery and European integration are determined.
