Abstract: The paper analyzes the range of adhesives created from renewable natural resources for chipboard to replace traditional adhesives based on formaldehyde resins. The market for bio-based adhesives is expected to grow by an average of more than 17% over the next five years. It is noted that the greatest demand for bio-adhesives is observed in the countries of North America, Europe, Japan and China, where the market of bio-adhesives for chipboard is at the stage of active growth and development. The demand for environmentally friendly materials is expected to continue to increase in the future.
