Abstract: When removing unwanted growing trees and shrubs from territories of various purposes, the method of uprooting them is often used. The peculiarities of the field studies of the experimental model of uprooting equipment developed by the authors of the article were the need to store the uprooted vegetation in piles with subsequent determination of their sizes. The article considers the issues of modeling the volume of piles formed when removing the said vegetation.
