Abstract: This discussion paper briefly summarizes the history of a sculpture journal that holds significant relevance not only in publishing works of art, but also in the changing perception of art influenced by the environment, which is hardly addressed in the publishing industry. The increasing use of technology in art creation has diversified the art forms and challenged the traditional view of what art is. Using the example of sculptures taken down as a result of public opinion, it shows how the awareness of inequalities has changed the social perception of art. It provides examples and recommendations for enhancing the public engagement with sculptures, monuments, and open space, while reflecting on the future of art toward more inclusiveness and openness to the general public.
