Abstract: The article discusses the scale of destruction of Voronezh during the Great Patriotic War and the associated difficulties of its revival. The work of the outstanding Voronezh architect Alexander Vasilyevich Mironov, who made a significant contribution to the restoration of our city, is analyzed.
