Abstract: This study addresses drugs and addiction as one of the most severe global issues, significantly affecting Iraqi society. Relevant parties, both official and unofficial, strive to combat this problem through laws, strategies, seminars, and workshops. Despite these efforts, drug prevalence is increasing, raising questions about the effectiveness of these entities. The research aims to assess the role of these entities and the effectiveness of the national drug control strategy, using an analytical approach. The study concludes that these entities need to improve their efforts.
