Additionally, the children were selected from four different schools in Lahore. A quantitative study was conducted using the survey method, while a structured questionnaire was used for data collection. A sample of 400 respondents was selected for this study using the purposive sampling technique, wherein, children were chosen from 4 different schools in Lahore. The findings of the study revealed that tablet use significantly influences parent-child conflict, while parental mediation influences the relationship between tablet use and parent-child conflict. Furthermore, findings also revealed that many parents use active mediation when their children are using tablets. Parents endeavor to limit their children's use of mobile devices and tablets, imposing restrictions on the content they can access. This often leads to conflict over turning off the devices and setting limitations on screen time. The study concludes with recommendations and suggestions for future research directions.
