Abstract: In this article, we aim to highlight the importance of activating enunciative competences and present how they can be utilized in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. The Competencies, in all their forms, hold paramount importance in the domain of language acquisition and instruction. They constitute the core of all activities within this domain, as the primary objective of educators is to effectively transmit these competencies to learners and enhance their linguistic proficiency. Likewise, learners aspire to master these competencies in order to achieve excellence and a high level of proficiency in the target language. Despite differences in defining, prioritizing, and assessing the relative significance of these competencies, all linguistic and pedagogical approaches unanimously recognize their fundamental role in language education. This study aims to analyze these aspects by drawing on the principles of enunciation theory and aligning with the guidelines established by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
