Abstract: The paper investigates functioning and operating policy of a leading Pan European stock exchange- EURONEXT. It has its operations in seven European countries like Brussels, Milan, Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, Oslo and Lisbon. It provides a framework on organizational structure and a roadmap to listing the securities in Euronext market. The research also emphasize on the advanced infrastructure which includes Optiq®- a leading trading platform, clearing services, trading settlement and post trade services to ensure market integrity, transparency and stability. It also provides protection against Strategic, Operational and Financial Risks. The paper also examines regulatory framework including various regulations like MiFID II, MAR, CSDR, EMIR etc, in addition to key focus on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Principles.
