Abstract: The RCVS Mind Matters Initiative (MMI) is celebrating its 10th anniversary with its fifth veterinary mental health research symposium on 10 October, World Mental Health Day. Centred on the theme ‘Advancing veterinary mental health research: learning from the past, considering the present and looking to the future’, the symposium will feature oral and poster presentations, networking opportunities and a wide range of exhibitors from mental health, veterinary and animal welfare sectors. Presentations will cover topics including burnout in veterinary nurses, neurodivergence in clinical learning, fertility-related workplace challenges and the impact of Schwartz Rounds in practice. RCVS council member and MMI chair Louise Allum described the symposium as a key opportunity to exchange ideas and foster compassion within the profession. The event will be held at The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham, from 09:00 to 17:00. For details visit: https://bit.ly/43BGr8t
