Abstract: : We make a comparative study between foreign doctors of Antiquity, particularly Greek doctors, settled in Rome and doctors from Third World countries, in particular African doctors, settled in Western countries. The objective of this study is to show the negative prejudices and stereotypes that many Romans and Westerners create about Greek doctors and doctors from Third World countries. Indeed, fear, rumors, and ignorance of the other create rejection, unfounded criticism, xenophobia, and the non-recognition of one's skills. To achieve this objective, we proceeded by reading and analyzing the writings of ancient and modern authors and surveys of current practitioners.
