Analisis Perbandingan Kasus COVID-19 di Indonesia Tahun 2020 dan 2021 Menggunakan Uji Repeated Measure MANOVA
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic, which began in late 2019, has had a significant impact on global health. This study aims to analyze the differences in the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia between 2020 and 2021, considering the influence of new variants that emerged in 2021. The data was obtained from Google Looker Studio and analyzed using the Repeated Measures Multivariate Analysis of Variance (RM MANOVA) method, which tested the differences between the two years based on three variables (Active Cases, Total Recovered, and Total Deaths). The RM MANOVA results showed a significant difference between 2020 and 2021 (p-value < 0.05). Further post hoc analysis revealed that the number of COVID-19 cases in 2021 was higher compared to 2020. These findings demonstrate how the dynamics of COVID-19 changed from year to year with the emergence of new variants.
