Abstract: The current study examines the confidence and motivation of reservists one year after the "Iron Swords" war, focusing on the war's goals and achievements. The methodology combines online questionnaires (over 1000) and telephone interviews (70). Main findings: an increase in the sense of capability in the Lebanese arena, a decrease in the willingness to fight in the Gaza arena, and a growing sense of political influence. Correlations show a connection between service area and security in achieving goals. The interviews emphasize economic and family challenges and the importance of returning the abductees. The study contributes to the examination of the continuation of reserve mobilization.
