The mixed-methods study involved 25 students from Saudi Arabian primary schools and compared the effectiveness of adaptive learning algorithms and differentiated instructional strategies. Results showed that adaptive educational games increased student engagement and comprehension, attributed to factors like enthusiasm, graphics, and immediate feedback. Concerns included technical issues, stability, and lack of clear instructions. The findings align with previous research, emphasizing the positive impact of personalized game-based learning environments on student motivation and academic outcomes. The study offers valuable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to implement adaptive educational games effectively in primary education.
