Abstract: Conflict resolution is a growing academic field within social science and management. It involves different notions of conflict and its causes, the positive and negative connotations, utility, and malfunctioning of conflict in society/organization. There are different ways to approach conflict resolution. These include conflict dynamics, needs-based conflict origins, and rational, strategic calculations. Conflicts are resolvable if tackled properly.
