Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The dynamics of inclusive innovation, and the associated activities in resource-scare environment and amorphous institutional fabric, are still a poorly understood phenomenon. Proposing a process framework, this study postulates that institutional void acts as an antecedent. Inclusive innovation is enabled by social mobilization, leading to increased trust, capability development, and empowerment. It is further facilitated by collaborative ecosystem comprising of traditional, non-traditional actors leading to inter-sector consensus building, resource mobilization. Furthermore, participation with actors enables deep co-creation to know market needs, create shared value to compete against non-consumption. These mechanisms facilitate higher market acceptance and bridge institutional gap.
