Abstract: This paper analyzes the transformation of engineering processes through the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The analysis focuses on three main elements-environmental transformation, social integration, and governance optimization-each supported by specific sub-elements such as resource efficiency, carbon reduction strategies, stakeholder engagement, and transparent reporting. The relation between these elements highlights the potential for engineering practices. The goal of these practices is to align with sustainability, social equity, and ethical governance objectives. Challenges such as regulatory inconsistencies, high implementation costs, and organizational resistance are addressed, alongside opportunities for innovation and growth through green financing, technological advancements, and collaborative efforts. The study proposes actionable strategies for ESG-focused policies, education programs, and incentivized practices. A theoretical model for transforming engineering processes through the ESG perspective is also presented. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on ESG integration, offering practical insights and a theoretical framework to guide future developments in engineering practices.
