Abstract: This study explores the cognitive processes of creative writers through the "Think Aloud" research technique. The primary aim was to understand how writers generate and organize their thoughts during the act of writing. Four creative writers were selected randomly and asked to verbalize their thoughts in real-time while composing their texts. These verbal reports were recorded and analyzed to identify recurring patterns and shared strategies. The findings revealed that, despite individual differences, all participants shared a common influence: their social background significantly shaped their writing choices and thematic orientations. This study offers valuable insights into the inner workings of the creative mind and highlights the role of socio-cultural context in the writing process.
