Abstract: The article provides information on the use of literary texts in teaching the Reading and Writing module in English classes at philological universities. At the same time, it gives information about the importance of interaction between the teacher and students in the learning process. It also outlines a general understanding of teaching methodology and focuses on how a teacher should constructively build the educational process to achieve the desired positive results.
