Abstract: The present study explores the influence of emotional and behavioral status on sports performance among students. The relationship between the emotional state and the behaviors associated with sport is complex and bidirectional, influencing the levels of motivation, concentration, resilience and team cohesion (Ionescu, 2018). Thus, it is essential for coaches and teachers to understand these dimensions in order to optimize sports training and support the personal development of students. The paper brings into discussion various theoretical models and empirical research that highlight the role of emotional states in sports performance, providing recommendations for effective interventions.
