Abstract: This paper uses a systematic literature review and thematic data analysis to study the application of Systems Theory to analyze culture in tourism from a systems perspective, which is an important but underexploited approach in the context of modern tourism. Culture does not exist as a single element but as a dynamic system, including many complex interacting components such as heritage, festivals, cuisine, local communities and tourists. From the study of three main topics, the study is conducted: Cultural interactions between tourists and destinations; The role of businesses in sustainable tourism; Trends in cultural management in the context of globalization. The results show that the systems approach not only helps to identify cultural transformation models (such as heritage commercialization) but also proposes feedback mechanisms to balance conservation and development. The results of data analysis ensure reliability, but still cannot avoid certain limitations, possibly due to the source of documents not generalizing the presented problem or due to the subjective data analysis. This suggests that the basis for subsequent studies will be more effective.
